College social app
The social app for the people at your college
Not another feed of strangers. Cmpus is where students at the same college make plans, talk about the lecture they are sitting in and find what they lost — and it keeps their attendance and timetable too. Free, for college students.
- Vibes
- Post what you are up to — “DBMS in the library, anyone?” — and classmates raise a hand to join. You decide who comes along.
- Your campus, or every campus
- Each post goes to students at your college, or to students everywhere. You pick, every time.
- Lecture threads
- A live thread for the class you are sitting in, shared with the people in the same room.
- Stories
- Share a moment from campus; see what the people you follow are up to.
- Messages and groups
- Direct messages with classmates, and group chats for your project team, hostel or class.
- Lost & found
- On your campus, not a marketplace full of strangers — the person who finds your ID card is a few blocks away.
- Badges
- Earned on your profile, including for bringing your classmates onto Cmpus.
Questions students ask
Is there a social media app just for college students?
Yes. Cmpus is a social app built around your own college: the people in your lectures, your year and your campus come first, and a post only reaches students at other colleges when you choose that. It also keeps your attendance, timetable and CGPA, so it is useful on days you are not posting.
How is Cmpus different from Instagram?
Instagram is the whole internet; Cmpus starts with your campus. There are no ads in the feed, no influencers, and features that only make sense at college — joining a classmate's plan, a live thread for the lecture you are in, lost & found for your campus.
Is Cmpus anonymous?
No. You sign up with your real name, and people see who posted. That is deliberate: anonymous campus apps tend to fill with things people would never say under their own name.
How do I stay safe on Cmpus?
Report any post, message or profile, and block anyone. Blocking removes the person from your search, messages and feed. Cmpus is for students aged 18 and over, and the community guidelines at cmpus.app/guidelines say what is not allowed.
Is Cmpus free?
Yes, all of it, with no ads in the feed. Your data is not sold.
